Our Mission

Making a Difference

Each year in the United States, nearly 14 million tons of clothing ends up in landfills. Meanwhile, disadvantaged communities throughout Central and South America are struggling to find affordable clothing for themselves and their families.

At Samaritan Clothing Company, our business model is simple — we buy salvage clothing at competitive prices from US-based thrift stores, then ship the clothing to partner nonprofits throughout Latin America, who are then able to fund their humanitarian programs using the proceeds from the clothing sales.

Through Samaritan, nonprofits are being given the funding and the tools needed to continue to serve their communities by providing housing, meals, work experience opportunities, and more.
